June 14th - 20th saw Philadelphia independent fashion retailers host an array of exclusive discounts, in-store events and promotions to celebrate Independent Retail Week: Philadelphia in association with Bel Esprit. Hotspots Sioux Zanne Messix, Latitudes and Joan Shepp offered shopping totes with goodies and city map. Bel Esprit was a proud partner of Independent Retail Week Philadelphia and to work with the wonderful retailers in the City. We look forward to helping Nolcha grow future editions in the years to come. - Deb Pokallus, Bel Esprit Showroom NOLCHA has really been a huge help in pushing the Duke & Winston brand in the few months we have been associated with them. From featuring the brand on CBS to getting us involved with IRW, we have gotten more traffic & sales in those months than all previous months in 2010 combined. - Seun Olubodun, Duke & Winston. Independent Retail Week plays an important role in supporting entrepreneurial retailers by driving traffic to their stores. The collaboration between Independent Retail Week and the City of Philadelphia, Commerce Department was an example of a public/private sector partnership at its best. In the end everyone won - most importantly the retailers themselves. We look forward to collaborating with Nolcha for many years to come. - Karen Randal, Director, Office of Business Attraction and Retention, City of Philadelphia View some of the press: > CBS featuring Senor, Matthew Izzo, Arcadia and Joan Shepp > NBC featuring Pileggi Boutique, Plage Tahiti, Kiki Hughes and Egan Day > ABC featuring Joan Shepp, Knit Wit, Senor and Latitudes Gallery > Fox Good Day featuring Just Dogs Gourmet > Lucky Magazine featuring Knit Wit > Daily Candy featuring Sioux Zanne Messix and Joan Shepp To view the event images click here |
