Nolcha sends a celebratory note out to photographer Jeffrey Holmes after his succcessful showcase at Photo:Synthesis with RogueNights.com. Jeffrey Holmes photography has been a dedicated resource to Nolcha Fashion Week: NYC for several years and it is great to see his growth and appreciation by the industry during his recent showcase.

A note from Jeffrey about his work:

I am a New York City based, freelance photographer specializing in corporate portraits and events for editorial, public relations and commercial use. My formal education was completed with  a Bachelor of Science. in Communications from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL. While photography has always been a passion though out my life, it was in 2002 that I left my corporate career and began my new life as a professional photographer in New York. My business background provided the foundation for me to run my own business and market my talents to corporations and their agencies.

I have built a successful business that has provides services to clients such as Microsoft, Panasonic, HON Company, Italian Trade Commission, numerous agencies as well as legal and financial firms in the New York Metro area. My work as been published in domestic and international magazines and newspapers including Institutional Investor, New York Enterprise Report and other news and business publications.

In the last 4 years, I have added fashion to my portfolio of work. Fashion photography provides a wonderful creative avenue where there are no limits like those typically found in corporate photography. In fact, I must admit that my fashion work has influenced my editorial and corporate portraiture.

Two years ago I was introduced to Kerry and Arthur of Nolcha and became involved in documenting their terrific endeavor to bring attention to emerging fashion designers and to educate new designers in the business of fashion.
