Since 2013, Nolcha Shows has proudly partnered with Make-A-Wish, a collaboration that has brought joy and fulfillment to countless lives. Among the heartwarming success stories is that of Katherine, a 13-year-old girl battling leukemia, whose wish to become a fashion designer was granted during Nolcha Shows: NYFW Ones To Watch Edition, marking the organization's monumental 10,000th wish.
“We are so excited to be partnering with Make-A-Wish again this year to bring these two girls’ dreams to life,” added Arthur Mandel, Founder of Nolcha Shows, by providing them with a stylist, designer clothing, professional photoshoot and front row access to the shows, we’re making sure that they not only experience the excitement of New York Fashion Week, but really become a part of it as models themselves.”
The event not only celebrated Katherine's dream but also showcased emerging talent, attended by trend-setting celebrities.
Among those in attendance were luminaries like Zendaya (Actress) Jennie Garth (90210), Christy Turlington (supermodel), Kat Graham (Actress) Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl), Coco Rocha (supermodel), Mario Winans (Singer) , Melanie B (Spice Girls), Chloe Bridges (The Carrie Diaries), and Jeannie Mai (Style Network).
