About the Brand
Founded in 2016 in Zürich with a focus on womenswear, Maya Seyferth intertwines different cultural inspirations in her designs. Maya is a German Designer, born in Georgia, she experienced powerful feminism expressed in strong colors, creative tailoring and demureyet confident behaviour. After having spent years in Hamburg, Paris and Zürich, the basic idea of taking inspiration from her diverse travels and cultural experiences remains. As a result, her designs can be worn for a vast array of occasions, bringing glamour to any style, whether it be in the office, at a festive dinner, or simply out and about.
Maya Seyferth is committed to designing clothes that allow women to create their own style so that they can feel confident by bringing together high-grade fabrics by unique methods of production.
What Is Your Inspiration for This Season’s Collection?
Edelweiss is the typical flower of the Alps. This rare flower is a survivor, confident and distinctive. It amazes explorers and allows themselves to be admired. This collection represents every flower, and every detail gets its own look.
Edelweiss often stands proudly alone on the mountain and enjoys the lookout. In Edelweiss, I see loneliness and longing for company. That’s why I added other flowers to the collection to visit Edelweiss so that Edelweiss could have company.
